Hybrid Acceleration - Bring your Hybrid Collaboration up a Noch

How can we reach a seamless collaboration in the hybrid mix of remote and office based team members? Hybrid Acceleration is an engaging online session where we will focus on just that. To accelerate your hybrid work, digital inclusion is essential which requires awareness of potential in-person biases as well as an overall upgrade of your asynchronous mind- and skillset. Remote Collaboration expert Line Mørkbak will share hybrid work practices to bring your hybrid collaboration up a notch. We will look at simple techniques that can upgrade your hybrid setup and dive into tips & tools to make the challenging hybrid meetings inclusive and fully engaging for both in-the-room and remote colleagues. We will also take a look at some of the hybrid pioneers as there is much we can learn from companies like Dropbox, Fujitsu and GitLab.

Remote Leadership

Line Morkbak discusses strategies for fostering collaboration in remote teams, emphasizing both synchronous (real-time) and asynchronous (non-real-time) communication. Asynchronous collaboration is valued for accommodating different time zones and work rhythms, while synchronous communication is crucial for decision-making and relationship-building. Line cites companies like Dropbox that prioritize asynchronous work to enhance focus and productivity. She also advises using tools like Slack or Padlet for daily updates and warns against relying solely on email. For international teams, Line highlights the importance of cultural awareness and suggests strategies for managing hybrid meetings. She encourages experimentation and adaptation in remote collaboration, advising leaders to model effective practices by prioritizing asynchronous work and keeping meetings focused and brief.
